Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil & CaerphillyContract: Full-time and part-time roles available – flexible workingPay Rate: £92.63 per dayStart Date: Immediate / As soon as possible

We are currently seeking caring, patient, and dedicated qualified and unqualified SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of SEN schools throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, and Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in specialist educational settings.
About the Role
* Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
* Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment
* Adapt your approach to suit pupils’ communication styles, interests, and abilities
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
* Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
* Is patient, caring, resilient, and adaptable
* Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Works well as part of a collaborative team
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience within SEN settings is desirable but not essential
Requirements
Teaching Personnel can support you in obtaining the following:
* Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
* References covering the past two years
