Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking experienced HGV1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Tilbury, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent tramping work Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend work and even a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidates.
🏢 About the Role:
Our client specialises in forestry products, and as part of the role, you’ll be operating walking floor trailers to complete deliveries and collections nationwide.
Full training on the trailers will be provided.
1. Tramping work – Monday to Friday
2. Occasional Saturdays (optional)
3. Start times: Between 04:30 – 06:00
4. Shifts: Approx. 12 hours/day
5. Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
âś… Requirements:
6. Full valid HGV1 (C+E) licence
7. Minimum 1 year’s experience driving HGV1
8. No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD, DR, IN)
9. Valid Digital Tachograph card
10. Valid Driver CPC card
11. Ability to complete an assessment and induction before your first shift
đź’· Pay Rates & Benefits:
12. PAYE: ÂŁ15.80 per hour (Monday to Friday, all hours)
13. Umbrella: ÂŁ19.10 per hour
14. Night Out Allowance: ÂŁ25.00 per night
15. Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
