Role Overview
This role supports community physiotherapy services across Pembrokeshire. The post involves working in patients' homes and on site, supporting patients with complex mobility issues, frailty, neurological conditions, post-surgery recovery, and mental health conditions. Applicants should be prepared to work on a rota covering 7 days, with travel within the HDUHB area and mileage reimbursement.
Candidate Profile
We seek an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated individual with experience in patient care, capable of engaging well with patients, working independently and in teams, supporting innovation, and working flexibly. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
Minimum Requirements
* GCSE Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent
* Level 3 Diploma in physiotherapy support
* Experience supporting therapeutic interventions with arms-length supervision
* Relevant courses and broad support worker experience
* Ability to complete Level 4 therapy apprenticeship or equivalent within 2 years
* Basic IT skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Level 4 therapy apprenticeship
* Knowledge of data collection systems
* Clinical practice qualifications up to 180 credits at Level 4
* Stars stroke competence
* Manual handling and manipulation skills
* Experience working independently in community settings
* Knowledge of therapeutic equipment
