Overview
Regional Sales Manager required for a reputable electronics distributor with offices across the globe. The role involves owning sales budgets and forecasting across the UK, providing technical support to customers on product selection, and collaborating with suppliers to define marketing and sales plans for the region. The position supports a remote working setup with occasional visits to the UK office and frequent travel within the region.
Responsibilities
* Own regional sales budgets and forecasting for the UK.
* Provide technical support to customers regarding product selection.
* Coordinate with inside sales support to support customers and opportunities.
* Work closely with suppliers to define marketing and sales plans and execute them across the region.
* Travel as required, including some overnight and international trips for training and supplier visits.
Requirements
* Degree qualified / Higher Education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subject
* Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the electronics/semiconductor industry
* Experience with power RF and Microwave components would be advantageous
* Ability to present to customers and engage in technical conversations
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
