SEN Teaching Assistant - Medway (Primary Schools)
About the Role
Simply Education are working closely with a range of welcoming primary schools across Medway who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. These roles are ideal for someone who is patient, caring and passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom.
Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible working days to suit your availability. Hours follow the normal school day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
Assist the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic developmentThe Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children (school-based SEN experience desirable)
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
Able to adapt to different schools and year groups
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)What We Offer
