Senior Digitalisation Engineer Location: Warrington / Aberdeen Our Client an Engineering company are seeking a Senior Digitalisation Engineer for a permanent -Staff position in Warrington / Aberdeen location. This role is placed within engineering, operations, or industrial automation or highly regulated industry. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Digitalisation Engineer to lead and deliver innovative digital solutions across our business units. Role As a Senior Digitalisation Engineer, you will drive strategic digital development across various sites and functions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure digitalisation strategies align with overarching business goals. You will lead and manage digital projects, ensuring their timely and successful execution, while developing and championing digital value propositions that enhance operational efficiency. A key part of your role will be identifying and recommending technologies that improve performance and promoting the standardisation of digital solutions across the organisation. You will act as a local expert in digitalisation, liaising with the global client digital community, and will regularly present and demonstrate digital solutions to internal teams and clients.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in engineering, operations, or industrial automation. Strong understanding of digital technologies and transformation strategies. Skilled in change management and communicating its value. Flexible and adaptable to evolving digital landscapes. Excellent leadership and presentation skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in lean management and process optimisation. Familiarity with mobile applications (low-code platforms). Knowledge of MS SQL (on-prem/cloud) and dashboard reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI). Technical support experience for operational technology applications. Degree or HND/HNC in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field. Project Management certification (Prince2, APM).
