About the Role

Venture-People are an award-winning organization operating in the Southeast, currently expanding into the Gloucestershire area.

We provide specialist support to individuals who have a complex need, including mental health diagnosis and/or autism spectrum disorder and/or forensic risk. Our mission is to work with a person-centered approach that can empower individuals to become as independent as possible. To achieve this, we strive to create bespoke solutions which deliver high-quality support and enable the individual to thrive outside of a hospital or other institutional setting.

As a trainee PBS practitioner, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst/UKBA [cert]. You will undergo training in the basic principles of behaviour analysis and learn about evidence-based behaviour intervention techniques.

We are not necessarily looking for someone with prior experience in the field, but instead looking for someone who is able to share the vision to do something different, and work proactively as part of a developing team. This role will use the Framework of Applied Behavioural Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support to actively enhance the quality of life of those people we support.

The role is interesting, varied and at times challenging! It’s an opportunity to be a part of a growing clinical team, in a growing field within Positive Behaviour Support.
