AJ Chambers are working with a top West End Law firm who are looking for a Legal PA to support partners and fee earners within the Employment team. The role involves managing complex diaries, coordinating client communications, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day matters.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

* Provide proactive secretarial and administrative support to partners, associates, and trainees in the Employment team.
* Manage complex diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
* Arrange travel and accommodation where required.
* Screen and manage incoming calls and emails.


Document Management

* Prepare, format, and amend legal documents including:
* Employment contracts
* Settlement agreements
* Tribunal documentation
* Client correspondence
* Produce documents using Microsoft Office and document management systems.
* Ensure documents are filed and stored in accordance with firm procedures.


Client Liaison

* Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate meetings, calls, and conference arrangements.
* Maintain high levels of client confidentiality and professionalism.


Case and Matter Management

* Assist with opening new matters and maintaining case files.
* Manage filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
* Track key deadlines including tribunal dates and client deliverables.


Billing and Financial Administration

* Prepare and process client billing.
* Assist with time entry for fee earners.
* Monitor expenses and disbursements.


Team Support

* Provide wider administrative support to the Employment team where needed.
* Assist with team projects, events, and internal initiatives.


Skills & Experience

Essential

* Previous experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary, preferably in Employment law or litigation.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
