Van Driver – 3.5 Tonne Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
• Carrying out store deliveries (handball required)
• Operating and driving 3.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category B driving licence
• Minimum 12 months’ experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Good spoken and written English
• Punctuality and excellent time-keeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided
• Driver assessment must be completed before starting
