A day in the life of a Murphy Quality Advisor
* Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative.
* Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
* Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and provide advice as needed.
* Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
* Carry out regular inspections and audits of sites and workplaces to verify compliance with Company Policies, Procedures, and other requirements.
* Review internal and supply chain partner Inspection and Test Plans.
* Promote the reporting of nonconformances and manage, advise on closing out actions.
* Collate and review Business/Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner for reporting to the Quality Management and Quality function.
* Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
* Support Project teams in developing Quality Plans.
* Produce Quality plans, procedures, and associated documentation, and check compliance.

* Experience within a Quality role.
* Relevant Quality Membership (CQI) is beneficial, along with ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification.
* MS Office package knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).
* Solid understanding of the ISO 9001 standard requirements.
* Chartered Quality Professional – Member (CQP MCQI) advantageous.
* Previous experience within an Engineering or Construction environment.
