Cost Manager

We have a new opportunity for a Cost Manager to support the delivery of an extensive programme of work comprising new build facilities and refurbishments to support current and future operations on the Client site.
Accountabilities
* Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication.
* Support Project Manager(s) and Programme Manager in Monthly Finance and Delivery Reviews.
* Support on Cost Engineering functions by working with the Project Manager(s) to provide informed forecasts for the Project (for the Financial Year and Project Lifecycle).
* Collaborate with the Project Planner to ensure forecasts are informed and aligned to the programme.
* Review and Track Costs and Forecasts to ensure and demonstrate continued affordability.
* Produce Cost Reporting Outputs in a timely manner for month‑end reporting, inputting into all relevant internal financial systems.
* Attend monthly supplier Project & Product Meetings and carry out associated contract administration as required.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a wider Project Controls or Commercial team on complex projects.
* Detailed working knowledge of cost engineering functions, cost control and cost analysis, preferably from a nuclear or highly regulated environment.
* NEC Contracts knowledge.
* CEMAR knowledge.
* Ideally Chartered.
Location
This position is hybrid with 3 days per week at the office in Glasgow City Centre.
