Role Summary
As the Transformation Communications Manager, you will support the Transformation Communications and Change Lead with planning and execution of transformation communications. This challenging role involves daily liaison with KDN Leaders. All outputs must be of the highest standard, requiring exceptional communication, influencing skills, business acumen, and professional judgment. You will partner with KDN team members to identify creative and effective communication strategies for various audiences, including creating and delivering communication plans, stakeholder maps, and integrating with project teams and change management. Your role will help shape communications to drive change adoption, minimize disruptions, and optimize outcomes during transitions. You will provide SME guidance to project teams and manage stakeholder relationships and change throughout the transition.
How you will make your mark
* Develop and execute project and programme communication plans with the Transformation Communications and Change Lead
* Present change strategies, reports, and findings to senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and impact skills
* Ensure a joined-up and integrated approach to communications across all KDN functions
* Champion innovative communication methods for stakeholders and staff
* Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adjusting based on priorities and new initiatives
* Occasionally work challenging hours to accommodate global team schedules
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal
* Manage multiple projects or programs individually or as part of a team
* Implement best practices in transformation communications
* Support communication strategies during transitions to aid colleagues and stakeholders
* Chart timelines, milestones, and deliverables to track progress
* Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure alignment and minimize disruptions
Stakeholder Engagement
* Manage expectations and ensure understanding and buy-in from all affected parties
* Act as the primary contact for project communications with internal and external stakeholders
* Provide regular updates and gather feedback to ensure satisfaction
This is the job for you if you have
* A bachelor’s degree in communications, relevant professional qualification, and experience
* Significant internal communications experience, especially supporting major projects/programs
* Knowledge of implementing communications and change management programs
* Strong influencing and communication skills for engaging internal stakeholders
* Proven project management skills with ability to gain stakeholder support
* Excellent writing skills, capable of translating business objectives into clear communications
* Ability to explain updates to diverse stakeholders across functions and countries
* Strong professional network to support organizational goals
* Team-oriented, adaptable, and quick decision-maker
* Strategic thinking to identify opportunities for better results
* Willingness to work flexible hours across time zones
