Your Baby Scan is recruiting for a receptionist to join our busy Widnes scan centre team. The ideal candidate will deliver first-class customer service, providing a premium experience while maintaining high standards of clinical cleanliness and effectively using IT systems to support our services. Compassion towards customers and the ability to engage in positive conversation to help them relax are essential qualities.
Duties of the role include:
* Meeting and greeting customers upon arrival
* Maintaining a high level of customer care
* Providing a relaxing, professional, and premium experience
* Handling calls and managing bookings
* Guiding customers through the consent process
* Refilling refreshments regularly
* Keeping the reception area, corridors, kitchen, and toilets clean
* Printing images in various formats
* Filing consent forms
* Producing copies of reports for anomalies
* Supporting and guiding patients according to clinical pathways
* Processing payments via card, cash, or vouchers
Requirements
The suitable candidate must possess the following skills:
* Clear communication skills in spoken and written English
* A calm, reassuring, and comforting manner across all communication methods
* Ability to handle phone calls effectively
* Ability to manage in-person patient interactions
* Experience handling payments and card transactions
* Basic computer skills, including navigating websites and printing documents
* All mandatory training will be provided to the successful candidate
