Position: Knowledge & Information Coordinator
Location: HM Naval Base, Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon, PL1 4SG
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 12 Months
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

We're looking for an organised data professional to coordinator and lead the way in how we store, manage, and share critical information across our business—especially in support of our building management systems (CAFM) and related processes.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work across two major sites—Armada and MOD Corsham—while being based at HM Naval Base Devonport. Your role will ensure that documents, data, and knowledge are:

Key Responsibilities
Managing Knowledge
5. Develop smart systems for collecting, storing, and sharing information
6. Maintain organised, accessible digital libraries and databases
7. Promote knowledge-sharing across teams
8. Support research data storage and analysis
9. Write clear reports and summaries
10. Track physical and digital resources
Information Governance
11. Ensure compliance with data protection and information security standards
12. Maintain data accuracy and consistency
13. Manage access to sensitive information
14. Use tools like Power BI to create business insights
Working with Others
15. Collaborate with teams to understand their information needs
16. Deliver training and workshops on systems and processes
17. Translate technical requirements into practical solutions
18. Lead projects to improve knowledge and information management

20. Experience managing digital information systems
21. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
22. Experience in data entry, administrative duties and
