PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES Reporting directly to the SVP Solutions and Development you will be responsible for supporting the product leadership of the Displaydata portfolio to ensure it meets the needs of our key customers. You will capture real life requirements and develop compelling value propositions and communications to ensure the successful launch of a new product to market. A results-oriented professional with excellent communication and written skills. The Product Manager will need to be driven to define best-in-class user-centric product features. This role entails: Supporting the SVP of Product Management and assisting with the definition and management of the Displaydata product portfolio from conception, through to the entire PLM cycle. Working closely with customers, account teams and product developers to capture use cases and define product features. Creating business cases, defining requirements, managing delivery scope from development through to the launch of a product. Coordinating, synchronizing and managing the execution of go-to-market (GTM) activities alongside cross-functional teams to include product development, operations, finance, marketing, etc. Working closely with the marketing team to ensure the alignment of product positioning and external market communications. Ensuring that product documentation is completed accurately, clearly and archived. Performing and maintaining competitive analysis and standing. Identifying product gaps and clearly capturing product advantages. Acting as an information conduit between customer/sales and product developers. Clearly communicating the product roadmap and new product features definitions. Maintaining and enhancing ROI, TCO and other sales tools. Proactively managing changes and risks in mitigation strategy. PERSON SPECIFICATION Knowledge/ Experience Experience in a global technology company, ideally focussed on solutions targeting the retail sector. You dont need to be an expert in the field, but you need an attitude to run when direction is given. Good understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process and all its phases. Capability to build a business case to justify new product or feature development. Experience in launching new products to the market. Strong technical background. Negotiation experience between product development and end user. Ability to question and challenge new feature requests. Solid project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills. Strong presentation skills and document management, especially writing release notes and converting marketing to technical requirements. A good understanding of how to scale the process with growth. Ability to perform competitive market analysis and product positioning. Experience working with cross-functional and international teams. Degree educated in Business Management, Engineering or related field.
