Job Description EHS Manager Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 benefits We’ve partnered with a leading global manufacturing organisation to appoint an experienced EHS Manager for a state-of-the-art facility, near Wigan. The role focuses on leading Environmental, Health & Safety activity on site, embedding effective systems, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational performance. The role will suit a proactive EHS professional who enjoys building frameworks, influencing stakeholders, and operating in fast-paced, technically complex environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead all EHS activity across the facility, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and internal standards Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems, policies, and procedures Act as the site lead for risk management, incident investigation, audits, and inspections Partner closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to embed a strong safety culture Drive environmental performance, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement About You: Proven experience in an EHS leadership role within a fast paced Logistics, Warehousing or Manufacturing environment NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant environmental qualification preferred Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence all levels of the organisation. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement effective actions.
