Role Information The school is seeking a hands-on, technically skilled DT Technician to support both practical workshop lessons and design-based projects. Key Responsibilities: Preparing materials, tools, and resources for DT lessons Assisting with CAD/CAM operations including 3D printers and laser cutters Maintaining machinery, tools, and workshop equipment Supporting students during practical tasks, ensuring safe usage Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and tracking inventory Ensuring adherence to health & safety and risk assessment requirements Assisting with displays, prototype modelling, and coursework support Providing technical assistance during GCSE and A-Level project work Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment Supporting the DT department in delivering high-quality practical learning This role is ideal for someone practical, safety-conscious, and confident working with tools and machines.
