School Partnership Manager

Permanent role, 37 hours per week.

£30,000 to £45,000 (Full time equivalent) dependent on experience.

Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office in Halifax and/or Leeds West Yorkshire (HX2 & LS11).

We're on the lookout for a passionate School Partnership Manager to help shape the future of education for children across the world. If you've got the enthusiasm, expertise, and a flair for sales, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities

* Play a crucial role in expanding White Rose Education's reach and ensuring that schools have access to our world‑class educational resources.
* Actively build relationships with schools across the globe, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their educational offerings.
* Prospecting and lead generation: identify and target potential schools and educational institutions that would benefit from White Rose Education's products and services. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new business leads.
* Sales and account management: conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to school administrators, teachers, and decision‑makers. Understand customer needs and provide solutions. Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
* Product knowledge and training: maintain in-depth knowledge of White Rose Education's products, services, and industry trends. Provide training and support to schools on effective use of our resources.
* Negotiation and closing: prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts. Negotiate terms, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.


Other Duties

All staff must abide by company policies and procedures, copies of which are available on our HR system.

Qualifications

* Essential: Experience of working in a team and dealing with people.
* Essential: Experience of prioritising workload.
* Essential: Experience in dealing directly with customers.


Desirable

* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector.
* Strong understanding of the educational landscape and the needs of schools.
* Willingness to develop own understanding and capability through advice and training.
* Creative problem‑solving skills.
* Experience delivering sales pitches and communicating with customers about deals.
* Experience in mentoring or coaching peers.


Personal Qualities & Skills

* Self‑motivated, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
* Ability to build strong working relationships as part of a team.
* Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Computer literate – Excel, Word & Windows OS.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Seek advice and support when necessary.


Self‑Management Skills

* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Leadership and Management Skills

* Competence in providing regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
