About the Role
The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and identifying defects and issues. The QA Engineer will work within the development team to ensure that all software products meet the required specifications, are user-friendly, and perform as expected. Additionally, the QA Engineer will maintain and improve testing processes and tools to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.
What You Will Be Doing
* Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software products meet requirements
* Perform manual testing to identify defects and issues
* Collaborate with development team to identify and resolve issues
* Ensure that software products are user-friendly and meet customer needs
* Develop and maintain documentation related to testing procedures and processes
* Continuously update testing skills and knowledge to keep up with new technologies and best practices
* Identify test cases which could be automated
* Identify, record and document bugs
* Coordinate release testing
* Assist with other project related activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet functional and technical specifications
Who We Are Looking For
* Education: You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience in software testing
* Testing knowledge: A solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
* Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
* Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams
* Independence and teamwork: Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Database testing: Experience performing database testing
* API testing: Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques
* SaaS testing: Experience testing SaaS-based software applications
Additional Skills
* Experience with automated testing tools
* Experience with Postman
* Exposure to AI tooling e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Co-pilot or similar
* Familiarity with working in an Agile environment
* Knowledge of Zephyr Squad
* Knowledge of QAWolf
