* Responsible for the detailed electrical design of controls and drives systems
* Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering & Innovation
Job Responsibilities
* Electrical site surveys
* Calculations to support sizing and selection (Power, Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Heat Dissipation, etc.)
* Equipment/component selection in line with client specification and internal preference
* Single line diagrams for power, control and networking/communications
* Electrical schematics and cable schedules
* Procurement of general components and materials
* Manufacturing handover, documentation and support
* As-built documentation from Testing and Commissioning
* Complying with all appropriate industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards
* Meeting project milestones
* Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Hardware Design department
* Maintenance of the Technical Construction File
* Other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Apprenticeship/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
* Minimum 18 months in a similar role
* Experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
* Good understanding of control system electrical design
