Join our Engineering team as an Assistant Manager - Engineering Services, supporting the coordination of maintenance operations across the site. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys leading a team, planning and prioritising work, and staying actively involved in day-to-day maintenance activities in a fast-paced operational environment. Our operations span Northern Queensland with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We produce a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries worldwide. Your Role: Working closely with the Engineering Manager and maintenance team, you’ll coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance, support maintenance staff, and ensure work is planned, scheduled, and completed efficiently. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping plant and equipment operating safely and reliably. What You’ll Be Doing: Coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance work while leading and supporting the maintenance team Allocate jobs, liaise with contractors and follow up to ensure work is completed to standard Assist with equipment breakdowns, capital projects and maintenance budgeting Prepare job sheets, manage timesheets and maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting Order parts and materials and manage day-to-day communication within the engineering team Who We’re Looking For: Previous experience in maintenance coordination, engineering services, or a similar role Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills Confident leadership style with the ability to support and guide a team Good communication skills and experience liaising with contractors Comfortable with reporting, administration and systems Practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety and quality Able to prioritise work and perform well in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
