To support and work with our small team ensuring high quality care and education is provided for children aged 2 to 5 years enhancing activities based on the children’s interests.
To act as key worker to a group of children and to maintain records of their development.
To work closely with parents/carers and other outside agencies.
To ensure safeguarding policies are followed.
To support and demonstrate fair and acceptable behaviour in the nursery, promoting respect, tolerance, and social skills.
We are looking for a caring, motivated practitioner to join our team.
Be a good the team player who is hard-working, flexible and adaptable.
This person must show the ability to communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionalswhilst establishing positive relationships with the children.
Good knowledge of EYFS is essential.
The candidate will be expected to implement high health and safety standards.
Essential experience - Some experience of working in a childcare setting.
Preferred experience - at least 1 -2 year experience in working within a childcare setting following qualification.
Working hours - between 7.45am - 6pm over four or five days. 51 weeks of the year. TTO not available.
Holiday allowance - 6.35 weeks plus an extra birthday day.
