Summary:
We're looking for an experienced
UX Designer
with
strong Information Architecture expertise
to help redesign the IA and navigation model for a shared web platform used across multiple brands.
The current platform was designed around a single brand and doesn't scale well. This role exists to define a
modular, flexible information architecture
that can support multiple products, brands, and content models without becoming fragmented or rigid.
This is a short, focused engagement with a clear goal:
set the structural direction and enable teams to build from it.
What you'll do and work on:
* Information architecture and navigation for a multi-brand web platform
* Cross-brand taxonomy, hierarchy, and navigation models
* Defining scalable patterns that work across different use cases
* Setting direction for a shared services / technology team to implement
This role is about foundational thinking and structure, not UI polish.
Responsibilities:
* Audit and assess the current IA and navigation across brands
* Identify where and why the current structure breaks down
* Define a scalable IA framework that supports: Multiple brands, Different product and content needs and Varying depth and complexity
* Design clear navigation models
* Propose modular approaches that allow flexibility without fragmentation
* Document and communicate the recommended IA clearly
* Work with a shared services / technology team to enable implementation
Deliverables are expected to be clear, practical, and usable, not academic.
What we're looking for:
* Deep experience in information and UX architecture
* Proven work designing large-scale or complex navigation systems
* Experience working across:
* Multiple brands or products
* Shared platforms or ecosystems
* Strong understanding of taxonomy, hierarchy, and modular IA systems
* Ability to work independently and set direction with limited guidance
* A portfolio that shows: IA diagrams and navigation models, Clear rationale behind decisions, Examples of systems that scaled across products or brands
