*About the Role*
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters with a particular emphasis on *probate work* (including both taxable and non-taxable estates). You will be encouraged to take ownership of your matters and contribute to the development of the department – with full support, mentoring, and access to a team that includes STEP, TALL, ACTAPS-qualified professionals and a Court of Protection Panel Deputy.
*Your Responsibilities*
* Manage a full caseload of private client matters, primarily probate and estate administration
* Advise on wills, powers of attorney, trusts, tax, and estate planning
* Work closely with colleagues to support departmental growth and client development
* Ensure best-in-class client service, compliance, and regulatory standards
* Supervise and support junior staff where appropriate
*What We’re Looking For*
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with minimum 2 + years’ PQE (all levels considered)
* Strong experience in probate and private client work
* STEP qualification (or willingness to obtain) is desirable
* Excellent client-facing skills and commercial acumen
* Driven, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively
