My client was established in the 1930s and is a world leader in delivering quality electrical solutions for military applications and its equipment and systems that can be found in a broad range of applications across the globe.
As the Electrical Manufacturing Support Engineer, you are responsible for reviewing, updating and checking schematics, 2D and 3D CAD, BOMs, general arrangement drawings, build guides and other manufacturing information for previously built items and occasionally developing new designs in preparation for manufacture. Providing technical support to production and resolving problems and faults, processing change requests, checking obsolescence and other part-related issues.
What we would like from the Electrical Manufacturing Support Engineer:
1. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or General Engineering or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or General Engineering, that has covered electrical engineering plus relevant work experience
2. Good understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, product development and manufacturing
3. Electrical fault-finding, power distribution and low voltage control systems and the use of electrical test equipment, and understanding of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing
