Job Description:

We are working with a legal-500 ranked, highly-reputable law firm that are looking for a Paralegal to support their Personal Injury Partner in Milton Keynes. You will provide direct support to the Partner, assisting with day-to-day duties and managing a caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress a career in Personal Injury.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Partner with a Complex High Court Caseload: Providing dedicated support to a Partner handling a caseload of catastrophic personal injury claims, with a focus on head injuries. Assisting in the day-to-day management of High Court proceedings, ensuring all procedural steps are met and key dates are closely monitored.
* Preparing Court Bundles and Drafting Legal Documentation: Compiling and indexing detailed court bundles for High Court hearings, ensuring compliance with court rules and practice directions. Drafting critical legal documentation, including schedules of loss, instructions to counsel and experts (such as neurologists or neuropsychologists), and court applications relevant to brain injury litigation.
* Attending Conferences with Counsel: Attending conferences with leading counsel and expert witnesses. Preparing comprehensive notes, highlighting key points, and feeding into the development of litigation strategy and settlement planning.
* Taking Detailed Witness Statements: Conducting sensitive and in-depth interviews with clients, family members, and carers to draft thorough witness statements. Ensuring statements accurately reflect the impact of traumatic injuries on daily life, employment, and long-term care needs, and are suitable for use in complex litigation proceedings.
What we need from you:
* Experience in personal injury or other litigation desireable
* Excellent professionalism and communication
* Proficiency in using IT software or quick to learn
