Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant in KS1, you will:
Provide academic support to pupils across all subject areas.
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.
Support pupils with SEN needs within the classroom, helping to promote independence and confidence.
Assist with classroom management, preparation of resources, and day-to-day learning activities.
Contribute to maintaining a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within KS1.
Be confident supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with special educational needs.
Show patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
Be reliable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with the school team.
Hold a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
