Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12‑hour shifts, days and nights. 24/7 shift pattern, average of 42 hours per week.

About the role
You will be an integral part of your team, ensuring the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and working as part of a well‑regarded, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work throughout our factory on various state‑of‑the‑art equipment including pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletisers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, etc.
Daily tasks
* Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, responsible for delivering a high‑quality Engineering service.
* Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, basic control, and instrumentation faults.
* Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
* Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
* Getting involved with factory improvement projects.
About you
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi‑skilled engineering background (either biased). You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex‑military are welcome to apply.

* Be confident enough to put forward new ideas and suggestions.
* Be accurate in your daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail.
* Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment
* Further skillset overview: fault finding in panels, sensors, relays, inverters, drives, motors, pumps, pneumatics, and pipework.
