JOB DESCRIPTION
To promote and protect the welfare of vulnerable people by comprehensively assessing individual needs, considering internal and external influences. Use professional judgment and analyze collated information to identify goals, intervention focus, objectives, and appropriate resources. Monitor, evaluate, and adapt care plans to meet changing service user needs, and communicate effectively with relevant parties. Promote social inclusion, work sensitively with diversity, and in an anti-discriminatory manner.
The role involves working within throughcare, aftercare, and youth justice services. The post holder will operate in a busy, dynamic team, undertaking programmed and individual work. Key tasks include statutory interventions, duty work, producing high-quality reports, assessments, risk assessments, and maintaining records. Relevant training will be provided. All tasks will be carried out within the framework of applicable legislation, Council policies, and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
This role is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the PVG Act 2007. The successful candidate must join or update their PVG Scheme membership before employment begins. Further information is available at Disclosures Scotland.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The post is classified as Level 10, with a hybrid working style. The successful candidate will work flexibly between home and office, with attendance requirements varying by service needs.
Applicants with pending qualifications within six months are encouraged to apply. If shortlisted, initial placement will be at Level 8 until qualifications are confirmed.
