We have an exciting new opportunity to appoint a Head Teacher for our fantastic school based in the heart of Salisbury. The Spires is a small (registered for 45), unique school for children and young people aged 6 to 18 who have experienced Trauma or would benefit from a Trauma informed approach.
As the Head Teacher, you will develop the leadership team within the school, enabling our pupils to have a bespoke learning experience within the setting that follows therapeutic practice. This will allow you to develop a curriculum catering to each young person's needs, enabling them to flourish and engage with education.
You will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to work alongside our local outreach provisions.
We are seeking an inspiring Head Teacher who is committed to fostering an inclusive culture and providing our Young People with a sense of belonging and self-worth. You will need to be resilient, child centred and hold the highest expectations for all young people.
The Spires School is one of 8 Ofsted Registered schools Five Rivers run, so you will benefit from being part of a close knit network of Headteachers who regularly meet and collaborate. You will need to have a proven background and knowledge within Safeguarding and Child Protection, as well as evidencing a holistic and therapeutic approach to our students and their needs. We are looking for an established leader who is looking for their next step.
