Role: Deputy Pharmacy Superintendent
Location: Leeds with regular travel to other P2U and external locations
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 DOE, plus extensive benefits
Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30, with an expectation to be flexible to cover some out of hours working

In this role you will be deputising for the Pharmacy Superintendent and providing additional leadership support to the Professional Standards Team.

What you’ll be doing?
* Deputise when necessary for the Pharmacy Superintendent
* Support the Pharmacy Superintendent in providing leadership to the organisation ensuring all aspects of Quality, Governance and Professional Standards are achieved and adhered to
* Lead the Professional Standards team providing expert guidance, workforce planning and professional development
* Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional and company requirements
* Ensure full GPhC compliance and adherence to organisational polices, SOPs and Guidance
* Meeting set targets for individuals and team to meet business targets
* Working with senior leadership key stakeholders across the business and externally as required
* Working within a dynamic and high-pressure environment
* Ensuring that the workplace remains fun, relaxed, and friendly
Who are we looking for?
* Strong Knowledges of pharmacy law and ethics; professional standards; NHS contract, GPhC standards and guidance, regulatory inspection criteria
* Extensive post registration experience
* Significant experience in a senior pharmacy leadership role
* Proven track record in managing pharmacy teams and leading service improvements
* Strong knowledge of GPhC, MHRA, CQC and Home Office regulations (for medicines)
* Experience in clinical governance, risk management, and audit processes
* Pharmacist registered with the GPhC
* Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society
* Evidence of relevant continuing professional development
