Job responsibilities

This role is key to delivering the Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB Medicines Optimisation LES, focusing on embedding safe, evidence-based, and value-driven prescribing.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will review and improve all aspects of the prescribing cycle, including medication initiation, repeat protocols, structured reviews, and deprescribing. You will lead prescribing governance and quality improvement initiatives to reduce variation, optimise outcomes, and minimise medicines-related risks.
