We are looking for a Fleet Performance Engineer to monitor, analyse, and optimise the technical and fuel performance of our vessels. The role focuses on improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and supporting decarbonisation efforts.Key Responsibilities
* Analyse vessel performance data (hull, propeller, engine, fuel consumption).
* Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvement actions (cleaning, speed optimisation, retrofits).
* Prepare monthly performance reports and dashboards for fleet management.
* Support compliance with environmental regulations (CII, EEXI, EU ETS, FuelEU).
* Work closely with technical, operations, and onboard teams to drive performance improvements.
* Evaluate new technologies and energy-saving initiatives.
Requirements
* Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
* 3–6 years’ experience in ship performance monitoring or fleet technical roles.
* Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems and ship hydrodynamics.
* Proficient in data analysis (Python/SQL preferred) and performance software.
* Good understanding of maritime environmental regulations.
* Analytical, proactive, and strong communication skills
