As a Transport Planner, you'll play a key role in optimising routes, ensuring compliance, and helping to maintain the highest standards of performance within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role
* Plan, coordinate, and optimise driver routes and daily workloads
* Monitor transport operations to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery
* Manage driver and vehicle schedules, updating plans in real time when required
* Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication
* Ensure full compliance with legal, safety, and company policies
* Support the Transport Manager with performance monitoring and KPI reporting
What You'll Need
* Proven experience in Transport Planning or Fleet Coordination
* Knowledge of EU Tachograph Regulations & Working Time Directive (WTD)
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Solid geographical knowledge of UK & Ireland
* The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the go
