Overall aim of the job:
West Court Retreat is looking for friendly, professional Bar Staff to deliver a relaxed yet refined beverage experience for our guests. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, quality service, and creating welcoming moments in a tranquil retreat setting.
Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 or over due to the requirement of selling alcohol.
Please note, West Court Retreat is not on a public transport route, so please consider necessary travel arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide warm, attentive, and personalised guest service
* Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks to set recipes and standards
* Recommend beverages and share knowledge of seasonal and signature offerings
* Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar
* Handle payments accurately and support smooth daily bar operations
* Comply with all alcohol service laws, hygiene, and safety standards
Skills & Competencies:
* Previous bartending or beverage service experience essential
* Good knowledge of drinks, mixology, and bar equipment
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Able to multitask in a calm, guest-focused environment
* Meets legal age requirements and available for flexible shifts
