Head of Sales – Boutique FinTech (Payroll Solutions) - Fully Remote (UK only) -

£110,000 – £120,000 base + Double OTE + Executive Autonomy - SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE


Are you a commercially driven sales leader ready to take full ownership of a growing FinTech business? Our client is a boutique payroll technology company that’s redefining how businesses manage and automate their payroll operations. As part of their next phase of growth, they are seeking a Head of Sales to lead, shape, and scale their go-to-market strategy.

This is not a “step-in-and-follow-the-playbook” role it’s an opportunity to take control of the sales function and run it as your own business unit. You’ll have full autonomy to design the sales strategy, build the pipeline, and directly influence the direction and growth of the company.


Salesforce experience is at the heart of this role as the business has a real focus on Salesforce and the chosen candidate needs to have a strong understanding of the platform.


The Role

* Own the end-to-end sales strategy and execution across the UK market.
* Lead by example — running your own demos, nurturing key relationships, and closing high-value deals.
* Define, refine, and optimise the sales process, from lead generation through to client onboarding.
* Run your own Salesforce Demos with clients new and old
* Collaborate closely with the founders and product team to align client feedback with product innovation.
* Build and mentor a high-performing sales function as the business scales.


About You

* A proven sales leader with strong experience in the FinTech, SaaS, or payroll/payments sectors.
* Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, high-autonomy environment — you thrive on taking ownership.
* Deep technical understanding of Salesforce — able to deliver your own Salesforce demos with confidence.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
* Excellent communicator and relationship builder at C-suite level.
