Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Agricultural field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our customers on-site. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires a proactive approach to service delivery and a commitment to upholding our company's standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment as per specifications.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and parts used.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and performance.
* Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
Skills
* Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the industry.
* A valid driver's licence is essential for travel to client sites.
