We are looking for an experienced Site and Contracts Manager to support the delivery of new build and renovated residential and commercial projects worth £200K to £2M across the Home Counties. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will take ownership of projects. You will look after scheduling, planning and material procurement from inception to handover, as well as manging the day to day running of sites. Whats in it for you? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, colleagues, and the public. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. Strong organisation skills. Experience in both residential and commercial construction. Valid driving licence. Desirable (not essential): CSCS card. SMSTS qualification. First Aid qualification. Additional relevant construction qualifications. A trade background. Key Responsibilities Organising the day to day running of sites and managing all personnel, including working foremen and site supervisors where appropriate. Procuring materials and scheduling deliveries. Organising subcontractors. Planning construction operations alongside specialists or other management staff. Managing relationships with site labour, subcontractors, suppliers and professionals, driving value for money. Managing budgets and programmes to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintaining relationships with clients and inputting into site meetings. Coordinating site logistics, including site layout to maximise efficiency, safety and security. Digital and hardcopy document management. Working with management to uphold regulatory compliance and minimise health and safety risks. Setting out, reading drawings and snagging construction work as it proceeds. Flexibly moving between sites and roles. Inputting into the health and safety file and feeding back lessons learnt to inform future decision making. Interview Process Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview.
