Role Overview
As a Transport Compliance Administrator at Next, you will work closely with the Transport Quality Manager to create basic transport processes and review and analyse fleet and driver compliance/financial information in order to improve service and lower costs. This key role is based Monday‑Friday within the Transport Compliance team at our flagship distribution centre, E3, where you will use your experience to ensure consistency and accuracy across transport systems.
Responsibilities
* Generate statistics and data for the transport management teams and the wider business.
* Produce regular reports to agreed deadlines.
* Distribute financial and compliance KPIs, highlighting common themes, trends and discrepancies.
* Update the Quality Management System and Transport website with key process changes.
* Process all assigned purchase order numbers and invoices as necessary to manage costs.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills when dealing with colleagues at all levels and a strong team spirit in a fast‑paced, busy and challenging environment.
Previous experience in an administrative role with intermediate to advanced PC skills in Google Suite is essential. Knowledge of PowerBI would be an advantage.
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to understand and interpret information, documenting it clearly and concisely. Capable of working accurately and at pace to meet all deadlines.
