A prestigious US law firm is looking to recruit a Conflicts & AML Analyst to join its London office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working as a Compliance Assistant, Risk & Compliance Coordinator, AML Assistant, or Conflicts Assistant who is looking to take the next step in their career. Working as part of the Risk & Compliance team, you will play an important role in supporting the firm’s conflict checking, AML processes, and new business intake procedures, helping ensure the firm meets its professional and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct conflict checks for new clients and matters across multiple jurisdictions
* Assist with AML and client due diligence checks, including KYC documentation and verification
* Analyse potential conflicts of interest and escalate where necessary
* Support the new business intake process, ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
* Review corporate structures and client relationships to identify potential risks
* Liaise with partners, fee earners and business services teams regarding conflicts and AML queries
* Maintain and update conflicts and compliance databases and internal records
About You
* Experience working in a risk, compliance, AML, conflicts or new business intake role within a law firm or professional services environment
* This role would suit someone currently working as a Compliance Assistant, Compliance Coordinator, AML Assistant, Risk Assistant or Conflicts Assistant who is looking for the next step in their career, as well as Conflicts or AML Analysts looking to make a lateral move
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
* Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
