About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor you will:
* Manage, monitor and report on commercial and cost aspects of allocated projects and portfolios.
* Support programme and project teams to ensure full compliance with contract and corporate governance rules.
* Lead commercial reviews and valuation of contractor applications for payment in accordance with contractual terms.
* Provide proactive advice and guidance on all change, including proposed scope changes.
* Produce appropriate commercial correspondence and contractual notices as required.
* Administer industry‑standard and bespoke contracts, including NEC and ICC terms.
* Ensure that commercial records are retained and archived properly.
* Manage final account settlements.
* Support pre‑contract procurement of suppliers, main contractors and consultants for projects and programmes.
The role can be based remotely, with biweekly travel to the Dublin office (two days per fortnight).
Qualifications
* Degree level education in a related subject, or Associate Member of a relevant professional institute with Chartered status.
* Knowledge and experience of NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 contracts.
* Preferable experience in the rail sector; experience with consultancies, clients or main contractors on civil, M&E and railway infrastructure projects will also be considered.
* Ability to prioritise delivery of role objectives.
* Good communication skills.
