Class 2 Driver (also required to work in the warehouse as and when required)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver, who will also need to work in the warehouse, to join our well-established client based in Keynsham .

Shifts:
* Monday – Friday: 05:00 – 06:00 start times
Rates of pay:
* Basic: £16.50 per hour

Day-to-day duties:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
* Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
* Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* When working in the WAREHOUSE you will be loading and unloading, picking and packing, helping the warehouse team
Essential skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
* A valid UK Category C licence
* A minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
* A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
* Good spoken and written English
* Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
* A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
* DBS check will be required before starting the role
Desirable experience:
* Previous commercial driving experience
* Previous experience working in a warehouse
