Legal Accounts Clerk

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
We are working with our client, a well-established and respected legal practice based in Brighton. They are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant confident in legal aid billing. Join their friendly and supportive Accounts team in a varied role that allows you to apply your legal sector experience and hit the ground running. Key responsibilities:
1. Handling incoming calls and emails
2. Purchase Ledger
3. Managing staff expenses and petty cash
4. Entering and managing data within online banking systems
5. Processing third-party transactions (e.g., Land Registry, HMCTS)
6. Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
7. Adhering to anti-money laundering procedures and internal policies
8. Providing general administrative support within the finance team
