The Role
The Caretaker plays a vital role in ensuring the school remains safe, secure and presented at its best for students, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Opening and closing the site, ensuring security of buildings and grounds
* Carrying out day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs and basic DIY
* Preparing rooms and facilities for lessons, events and lettings
* Monitoring the condition of the premises and reporting issues promptly
* Supporting contractors on site
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
* Assisting with health & safety checks and compliance procedures
