I am seeking a CPA-level tax accountant with strong technical expertise in U.S. tax and deep familiarity with U.S. GAAP principles for a specialized, high-level accounting project.
The role involves analytical, judgment-based accounting work that requires real-world professional experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Developing complex tax and accounting scenarios
• Creating structured evaluation frameworks and grading rubrics
• Reviewing and assessing technical accounting analyses
• Applying expert-level reasoning grounded in U.S. GAAP and tax standards
• Providing clear written explanations supporting your conclusions
Ideal Background:
Strongly preferred:
• Former Big Four tax accountants (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG)
• CPA credential
• Minimum 2+ years of full-time tax experience (internships do not qualify)
Also considered:
• Experience at firms such as Grant Thornton, BDO, RSM, Forvis Mazars, Baker Tilly, CohnReznick, Plante Moran, Moss Adams, Marcum, Andersen
• Professionals with substantial technical accounting experience applying U.S. GAAP principles. Encourage all with accounting experience to apply
Compensation:
• Standard range up to $150/hour
• Exceptional profiles may receive $150–$200+ per hour
• Premium rates available for highly qualified candidates
