Company Secretarial Assistant (full / part time)
Are you looking for an administrative role in a growing Top 50 law firm?
Could you be our new Company Secretarial Assistant here in our Birmingham or Worcester Office?
Our team of corporate lawyers and company secretarial assistants offer straightforward and helpful services, such as same-day incorporation and company secretarial support.
As a company secretarial assistant, you will provide services to a diverse range of businesses, from one-man bands to SMEs and larger incorporations. You will be their first point of contact and will liaise with external stakeholders daily.
Duties Will Include
* Incorporating companies
* Taking telephone calls and fielding enquiries
* Distributing post addressed to your clients
* Advising on service level options available to new and existing clients
* Submitting Confirmation statements and ensuring deadlines are met
* Supporting the team’s paperlite process
* Filing, organising, scanning, copying, and faxing legal documents
* Liaising with agencies and assisting with setting up new businesses on Companies House
* Producing and notifying clients of annual invoicing
* Managing a shared inbox
About You
You will have:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; training on bespoke company secretarial software will be provided
* Excellent communication skills, clear, concise, and accurate
* Experience in a professional administrative environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Resilience and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
* Experience drafting legal documents is useful but not essential
