Bank Specialist Occupational Therapist
* Hours: Bank
* Location: Based at Peace Hospice, Watford, but will be expected to travel to other RGP locations
* Salary: Depending on experience may be a Rennie Grove Peace Band 5/6 - £17.65 - £21.86 per hour.
* Closing date: 15 June 2026 at 12 noon
* Interview date: 23 April 2026, then rolling interviews

What you will do
* Provide evidence-based practice and practice development across the patient pathway within the occupational therapy service, the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and other partnership organisations.
* Provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs and provide specialist advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
* Take a role in the advanced assessment, clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients. Provide support and advice to patients, their carers and professionals. Consider and complete appropriate referrals to the MDT, ensuring seamless service for patients.
* Acting as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community.
* Provide specialist advice and education on all aspects of occupational therapy and rehabilitation for patients, carers and health care professional.

What you will need

* Manual handling and/or heavy lifting.
* Full, current valid UK driving licence.
* Access to a vehicle which can be used for work purposes.

* Professional registration (e.g. NMC, GMC, HCPC, BACP)
