40 hour working week, times vary dependent on client requirements however usually between 07:30-16:00 + occasional early hours weekend work (with advance notice provided)
About the role We are looking for a Senior Greenkeeper to join our team and tend grounds for the prestigious Royal Leamington Spa Bowls Club. You will lead in keeping the greens & sporting areas in wonderful condition through turf management, pesticide spraying, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled horticulturalist to have their efforts be a part of televised competitions & events,
gain valuable experience and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment! Requirements
Previous Greenkeeper or relevant Grounds Maintenance experience required.
A full valid UK driving licence.
Fine Turf (Level 3) Qualification & PA1 & PA6 Tickets are essential.
Experience using powered grounds maintenance machinery is desired, as well ride-on mower and tractor driving experience an advantage.
Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
Highly motivated with flexible working & understanding of maintaining to the highest standards.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with the client & attend meetings when required.
