Project Manager – Security & IT Systems
South West | Major Infrastructure Project
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver the Security and IT package on a large, high-profile project in the South West.
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of Gallagher access control and IT infrastructure, working closely with subcontractors and wider MEP teams to ensure safe, compliant, and on-programme delivery.
Scope includes:
*
Gallagher access control systems
*
Point-to-point Cat6a structured cabling
*
Fibre backbone, including blown fibre for external routes
*
Wi-Fi network installation
*
Active hardware/switches supplied and installed by others
Key Responsibilities:
*
Manage delivery from design through installation to commissioning
*
Coordinate and manage specialist subcontractors
*
Lead technical coordination with MEP and construction teams
*
Ensure quality, safety, documentation, and handover requirements are met
Essential Experience:
*
Proven delivery of Security and/or IT packages on large projects
*
Strong knowledge of access control, structured cabling, and fibre networks
*
Confident subcontractor and technical coordination skills
Desirable:
*
NEC contract experience
*
Data centre, Gigafactory, or high-tech project experience
Hybrid working available from Bristol, with regular site attendance in the South West. Please note as the contract develops you maybe required on site 5 days per week.
