We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
* Assist in managing daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, to achieve operational excellence.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of culinary quality.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards across all departments.
* Support in training new staff members and providing ongoing development opportunities for existing team members.
* Manage customer relations, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Coordinate food production activities to meet service demands efficiently.
* Assist in inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed.
* Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Qualifications
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
* Experience in food production, serving, or barista roles is advantageous.
* Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary practices, and hospitality industry standards.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
* Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable. Pay: £12.57-£14.57 per hour
